Dorothy Goldeen buys and sells on behalf of clients as a private dealer. Through extensive networking and continuous travel to art world venues, artworks are sourced based on a client's request. Additionally, clients are kept abreast of works that may be of interest to them based on Dorothy's knowledge of their collection and interests. Sources for artworks include artist studios, galleries, museum exhibitions, private collections and auction houses. Resale of Artworks When clients wish to divest works, Dorothy Goldeen consults with them on market analysis and the most effective strategy for resale. Dorothy Goldeen Art Advisory may act as the agent of sale or as the administrator of the sale. If auction is chosen for divestiture, the appropriate auction house is determined and the contract is negotiated on behalf of the client. Consultation is available for individual works and entire collections. Buying at Auction Dorothy Goldeen buys for clients at auction internationally. Consulting may include selection of artwork, price analysis, physical inspection of the artwork and bidding. Client confidentiality is strictly maintained.  |
