LA Art Fair

The Fair was certainly a great opportunity to meet and greet. The best offerings were mainly local. Ace had a standout one-person show for Tim Hawkinson. Tom Solomon had a beautifully curated booth which included small, stunning, and well-priced work by Helen Lundeberg and Krysten Cunningham. Brian Butler’s presentation of Christin Everberg, with drawings tucked around the corner, Pae White and Jorge Pardo worked for me.

Dean Valentine was among the faithful on opening night. We had an opportunity to discuss his January interview in Art & Auction Magazine. One of the most candid and biting opinion pieces in recent memory, and I would say right on.
